Berniece Care Service is a home for the elderly that started in 1987 in Taman
Tasik Titiwangsa. This home is in memory of my loving dad, Mr. George Cardoza, who was also the reason for me to start the Home Care Centre.
We relocated to the heart of the city in the year 2000. Berniece Care Center
has presently 20 residents both male and female of average age from 60 to 90.
Caring for the community’s elders is a “sacred trust” that we believe goes
beyond the basics to include mental, emotional and spiritual sustenance.
We provide compassionate and high-quality care to our residents.
Every Sunday a lay person from St. Joseph’s Church, Sentul comes to give Holy Communion to the Catholic residents at the home. At times there are also caring church members who have organized a sing along and fellowship with the residents.
Taking care of the elderly and sick is not easy at all and over the years I have
been blessed with patience and tolerance as a good team of staff who with compassion have shown love and kindness to all the residents.
